It’s time for the troops, and everyone else, to make a decision

The military has put the U.S. Marines into a “prepared to deploy status” in case they are needed to “augment support” in Los Angeles. If they are activated and they go, you will be witnessing the beginnings of a police state in America. We are a hair’s breadth away from it. This is not okay.

The Marines have a decision to make. Do they defend the Constitution or do they comply with fascism. When they comply in Los Angeles, they comply in the next city, in the next town, in your neighborhood, on your street, at your house. It is a violation of the Posse Comitatus Act, but since most chucklefucks never paid attention in school, they probably don’t know that.

When the Marines step in, We The People are the target and it won’t end without bloodshed. We’re already well into the lies from those who have kissed the orange melon’s ass. The next step is monitoring the No Kings protests nationwide. Then, the red state governors will gleefully goosestep behind hair führer.

Then, free movement will be restricted. Habeas Corpus will be suspended. Elections will be permanently suspended. Martial law will be the only law. What will you do then?

This is the path we are already on. It is no longer hyperbole. Don’t willfully ignore it.

We can only hope the Marines will refuse to follow illegal orders. If they don’t, all bets are off and there is no coming back from this. Ask yourself, what kind of person do you want to be?

It’s scaring me so much, what I see going on in my hometown (LA native, born and raised about 10 miles from Paramount and Compton). It seems the National Guard is illegally being used, since Newsom didn’t give permission. And the Marines? Holy shit, this isn’t going to end well at all. I fear for us all. But I’m still going to show up on Saturday at the No Kings here in town, and I’m still going to speak out as much as I can, talk to my representatives, and lobby friends to stand up and get involved.

I’m planning on attending the No Kings in my town as well. I’m going to keep fighting, but it does get more worrisome each day. I’m trying not to be afraid, but they’re hitting everything from all angles and it’s become difficult to keep up, which means something is going to slip through. I really want to be proven wrong that this is going to end with blood shed. I don’t think we’ve even seen the worst yet.
