Little yellow bastard outside my front door.<\/p><\/div>\n

There are days I have thoughts in my head I want to write about, but can\u2019t flesh them out into anything more meaningful than a sentence or two. Sometimes it\u2019s because of the PTSD. Sometimes I can\u2019t find the right words to express myself. Sometimes someone else said it better. Sometimes there isn\u2019t anything more to say.<\/p>\n

The list below is from the past week. In a way, each bit is its own story, regardless of how short or long it is.<\/p>\n

I was afraid to attend the protest on June 14, 2025. I went anyway. They want you to be afraid and stay home. They want you to submit to and accept a variety of immoral acts they are committing and remain silent. Resist.<\/p>\n

Pete Ricketts keeps saying<\/a> he and his team are here to serve me. It\u2019s a lie. He\u2019s a liar. Always has been. Always will be. <\/p>\n

TACO has only been in power for five months. It feels like five years.<\/p>\n

MAGA won\u2019t see the positive images and stories. That\u2019s how the internet works now.<\/p>\n

There are far too many people who still don\u2019t believe I am equal to them or that I am a whole person. It grieves me to know they would rather I be shackled and not seen or raped into compliance.<\/p>\n

I will always like this quote about the Sam Vimes theory of socioeconomic unfairness from the book \u201cMen at Arms,\u201d by Terry Pratchett.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe reason that the rich were so rich, Vimes reasoned, was because they managed to spend less money. Take boots, for example. … A really good pair of leather boots cost fifty dollars. But an affordable pair of boots, which were sort of OK for a season or two and then leaked like hell when the cardboard gave out, cost about ten dollars. … But the thing was that good boots lasted for years and years. Airplanes are the new boxcars.<\/p>\n

I have an old washcloth covering the handle to my shower. If it is not there, water hits it and makes an annoying noise. My cat, Aeryn, sits patiently outside the shower until I am finished. When the door opens, she hops in and spends the next five minutes \u201ccatching\u201d the drops of water off the washcloth and licking her paw.<\/p>\n

No one is coming to save us. We are the cavalry.<\/p>\n

The Holocaust started with mass deportations.<\/p>\n

Supporting the Constitution is now \u201cleftist.\u201d <\/p>\n

There are far too many damaged souls running our government. They have no empathy, only hate.<\/p>\n
