I’ve been trying to keep this space as non-political as possible. Sometimes, however, you read the news<\/a> with a smile. I was content to let the obituary notification for Henry Kissinger go, visit ishenrykissingerdead<\/a> one last time, and move on with life. This morning, however, the first thing I read<\/a> was about some shit South Dakota Governor Kristi Noem said. <\/p>\n

“It\u2019s a sad day for us because he was a leader that led through challenging times, and I hope that everyone\u2019s reaction to his passing is to go learn a little bit more about him that you didn\u2019t know before. Around your dinner table, or when you\u2019re driving in the car with your kids, tell them a few Kissinger quotes that were used at strategic times. Give them a little bit of history, because if we forget what happened in the past, we\u2019re doomed to repeat it, and many times throughout history the United States of America went through dark times and leaders like Kissinger stood up and they took action and they provided leadership when we needed it the most.\u201d \u2013 South Dakota Gov.
