Today is the 50th day of the year and I thought I would take some time to reflect on how the year is going, especially since 2020 and 2021, were more bad than good.<\/p>\n

There are always going to be negative things going on, but I’ve gotten better at how I respond to them than I used to, which has helped to improve my mental health, but there are still some things I’m always going to end up having negative reactions to.<\/p>\n

Lawmakers are still trying to control women, this time with a pregnancy database<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The constant barrage on female autonomy bothers me far more than I wish it did. I agree with many others that the Supreme Court is going to overturn Roe v. Wade. Even though the court decision hasn’t been made yet, it feels like one of the saddest foregone conclusions in my life. It makes me sad<\/a>, angry<\/a> and helpless, especially since states surrounding Texas, such as Oklahoma<\/a>, are struggling to keep up<\/a> with the influx of patients<\/a>.<\/p>\n
