I ride dirt bikes
\ntake the biggest jumps
\nto enter serenity
\nwhere nothing lies between
\nyou and the ground <\/p>\n

I play video games
\nInfocom
\nColecoVision
\nIntellivision
\nAtari
\nNintendo
\nsolve the puzzles
\nsave the day<\/p>\n

I cook
\nand bake
\nand make fancy dishes
\ntable manners
\ntable settings
\nlefties always sit together<\/p>\n

I climb trees
\nand play in the mud
\nMatchbox cars zoom
\nin the sand pile
\nin my grandma’s backyard<\/p>\n

I don’t like pink
\ndon’t like blue
\nblack is where it’s at<\/p>\n

I don’t wear make-up
\nor play with dolls
\nI like firecrackers, worms, and bugs
\nand sitting for hours watching ants come and go<\/p>\n

avoid heels
\ncan’t walk, can’t run
\nskirts and dresses
\nare annoyingly restrictive<\/p>\n

Society shuns me
\nfor not being proper
\nnot being girly
\nnot being who they want me to be<\/p>\n

I don’t need a dress
\nto be confident
\nI don’t need to be a cook
\nto be competent<\/p>\n

I’m not bothered about looking pretty
\nor how dirty I get
\nit’s about being me
\nand that’s enough to change the world<\/p>\n
